INNOVATION LEADER National Competition was inaugurated in 2002 during the opening of the Fair of Economy and Science Innovation INTARG-KATOWICE 2002 and right from the beginning has raised huge interest among entrepreneurs, research and development facilities, higher education institutions and schools, as well as individual inventors and innovators.

During 4 days ITM Poland fair presented innovative machinery and equipment for many industries such as welding, metallurgy, plastic metal processing, foundry, lacquering, transport, health and safety. What is more, there were 100 novelties showcased. 23 exhibitors left ITM Poland 2011 with the PIF Gold Medal, and the 10 companies awarded the

Panel on Regional Innovation Strategy of the European Social Fund Unit of the Marshal's Office along with the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice announce opening of the implementation of information and promotion campaign under the system project "Management, Implementation and Monitoring of the Regional Innovation Strategy of the Silesia Voivodeship".

The 110th anniversary edition of CONCOURS LEPINE Show ended on May 8, 2011. The Show took place in Paris at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre during 28th of April and 8th of May 2011.

The Silesia Greenpower car SG 2011 won second place in the race of The Greenpower Corporate Challenge.

The competition is organized under the project"Enterprise Europe Network"and the system project "Management, Implementation and Monitoring of the Regional Innovation Strategy of the  Silesia Voivodeship" under the auspices of the Marshal of the Silesia Voivodeship within the INNOSILESIA brand.
