II edycja wydarzenia 4 Design Days zgromadziła blisko 3,5 tys. gości biznesowych, 20 tys. zwiedzających, 170 wystawców i obejmowała 40 sesji tematycznych. Ogromne zainteresowanie II edycją pokazują, że środowisko architektów, projektantów i odbiorców ich projektów, w tym deweloperów i inwestorów, potrzebuje nowego miejsca wymiany opinii i networkingu.

The II nd edition of the Design Days event gathered nearly 3,500 business guests, 20 thousand visitors, 170 exhibitors and included 40 thematic sessions.The enormous interest of the second edition shows that the environment of architects, designers and project buyers, including developers and investors, needs new places of information exchange and networking.

Spotkanie odbyło się pod hasłami: architektura, biznes, człowiek i design. Podkreślono, że polska architektura dynamicznie się rozwija, nadrabia zaległości i wspina się na podium. Biznes natomiast potrzebuje dobrej architektury i najlepszych projektantów, żeby zbudować swoją konkurencyjność i osiągnąć sukces. Wspólnymi punktami tych dwóch elementów jest człowiek oraz projektowanie z sensem i wrażliwością -design, który nie jest chwilową modą, a raczej przemyślana strategią, która się opłaca w dłuższej perspektywie.

4 Design Days odbyło się w miejscu niezwykłym dla Katowic – Międzynarodowym Centrum Kongresowym, które zostało wielokrotnie wyróżnione w prestiżowych konkursach. W 2016 roku MCK zostało wybrane w konkursie "Meeting Planner Power Awards" jako najlepszy obiekt kongresowy w Polsce. Ponadto zostało Bryłą Roku 2015, a także zostało zwycięzcą Nagrody Architektonicznej POLITYKI 2015.

Architektura zawsze była kręgosłupem regionu. Dzięki śmiałym wizjom, m.in. śląskich architektów, tereny poprzemysłowe i dawne kopalnie w Zabrzu, Katowicach czy Żorach zmieniają się wielkie centra kultury, rozrywki i biznesu, stając się nowymi symbolami tej części Polski. O śląskich twórcach mówi się głośno już nie tylko w Polsce, ale i na świecie.

Silesian Design-4 Design Days

The II nd edition of the Design Days event gathered nearly 3,500 business guests, 20 thousand visitors, 170 exhibitors and included 40 thematic sessions.The enormous interest of the second edition shows that the environment of architects, designers and project buyers, including developers and investors, needs new places of information exchange and networking.

The meeting took place under the motto: architecture, business, man and design. It was emphasized that Polish architecture is dynamically developing, catching up and climbing on the podium. Businesses, however, need good architecture and best designers to build their competitiveness and success. The common points of these two elements are man and also design created with sense and sensitivity that is not a momentary fashion, but rather a deliberate strategy that pays off in the long run.

4 Design Days took place in an unusual place for Katowice - the International Conference Center (MCK), which has been repeatedly honored in prestigious competitions. In 2016, the MCK was selected as the best congress venue in the "Meeting Planner Power Awards" competition. In addition, it became the Body of the Year 2015 and was also the winner of the POLITYKA’s Architecture Award 2015.

Architecture has always been the backbone of the region. Thanks to bold visions of Silesian architects, post-industrial areas and former mines in Zabrze, Katowice or Żory are changing into great cultural, entertainment and business centers, becoming the new symbols of this part of Poland. About Silesian artists it is spoken loudly not only in Poland, but also in the world.
